We engaged this company for a tour and bus service during our visit to Jakarta for my director. The planning and communication before the trip went smoothly. However, some of the services provided did not fully match what was discussed or shown to us beforehand. For example, we had paid to visit the top of the Monas attraction, but in the end, we were told they had forgotten to purchase the tickets. We were a group of 20 tourists, including an elderly person in a wheelchair and a baby, and we were left waiting under the hot sun. This was very disappointing and uncomfortable for everyone, especially the more vulnerable members of our group. We also booked their photography service, but the photos we received were quite different from the sample photos shared earlier. Additionally, the person who took the photos turned out to be the tour agent himself, which was unexpected. When we visited Dufan, we had planned to have a photographer and drone capture memorable moments with the children and elderly. However, we were later informed that the photographer had been chased away by security. We were never told about this situation beforehand, so we were under the impression that the photographer was actively capturing photos throughout the three-hour visit. This lack of communication was very disappointing. As a professional tour agency, we believe they should have proper methods or arrangements to manage such situations. This was one of the most disappointing aspects of our experience. As of 26 Aug, it has been one month since we returned from Jakarta, but we have not received the drone footage and edited photos as promised. We already made the payment, but we have not received the service. We were attracted to this company because it is a large organization with different divisions (e.g., Ciptatour, Ciptarent, Ciptaticket) and has excellent 5-star Google reviews. We did not expect such service quality based on their reputation. Five stars for Mr. Itang! Mr. Itang was polite and informative, helping us decide which destinations to prioritize since our itinerary was a bit unorganized. As for the car rental, we were slightly disappointed because we had been promised a TV for karaoke, but the car we received didn’t have that feature and we weren’t informed about the change.
